By completing this course, you will be able to acquire:

1. enhanced skills in reading Armenian;

2. knowledge of:

   • the Armenian case system and specific features of declension (“persons” vs. “things”),

   • new types of declension (words denoting concepts of time),

   • certain word-formation patterns (based on the names of colors),

   • the formation and usage of plural forms in Armenian;

3. the ability to carry on casual conversations on everyday topics such as ‘family’, ‘studies and work’, ‘seasons and weather’, and ‘Armenian cuisine’, with an active vocabulary of about 800 words.
