The second of two parts of Level A1.

By completing this course, you will be able to:

1. Complete your introduction to all the letters of the Armenian alphabet and consolidate your reading and pronunciation skills, while developing a better sense of the rhythm of Armenian speech and characteristic consonant pronunciation.

2. Gain knowledge of

   • the rhythm of Armenian speech;
   • the devoicing of voiced consonants;
   • the declension patterns of kinship terms;
   • the distinction between personal and reflexive pronoun forms such as նա / ինքը, նրա / իր, and their corresponding plural forms.

3. Expand your ability to communicate in Armenian:

   • start and maintain a short dialogue;
   • ask and answer questions;
   • talk about your family, studies, the weather, and other familiar topics;
   • understand short connected utterances on familiar subjects;
   • fill in a simple form with basic personal information;
   • use a vocabulary of approximately 500 words.
