These courses are designed for learners aiming at a high and professional level of proficiency in Armenian.
They focus on advanced grammatical structures, stylistic variation, and confident use of the language in both spoken and written forms.
Students work with authentic texts and develop the ability to use Armenian accurately and flexibly in academic, professional, and cultural contexts.

C2(I) Proficiency. EN
C1-C2. Advanced Courses

Upon completing this course, you will be able to increase your vocabulary by approximately 800 words (up to 4,400), focusing on architecture and painting, and:

1.     improve your skills in working with texts of various types;

2.     acquire knowledge of:
• the necessitative (obligative) mood in Armenian,
• the subject participle and its usage,
• the subtleties of the resultative participle,
• the numerous Armenian prefixes, their origin and meaning;

3.     develop the ability to:
• infer the meaning of unfamiliar words based on prefixes and roots,
• understand nuances of future tense forms in different moods and flexibly select the appropriate forms in your speech;

4.     and finally, learn:
• what makes Armenian architecture unique,
• which museums and galleries are worth visiting in Armenia.

C1(II) Effective Operational Proficiency. EN
C1-C2. Advanced Courses

Upon completing this course, you will be able to increase your vocabulary to 3,600 words and:

1.     improve your skills in working with texts of various types;

2.     acquire knowledge of:
• the indicative mood system and several future tenses in Armenian,
• the “future in the past” tenses in the optative and subjunctive moods;

3.     develop the ability to:
• express real and unreal conditions, possible and impossible events in Armenian,
• create and understand more complex texts;

4.     and finally, learn:
• why Armenian uses superscript prosodic marks,
• why Armenians are dispersed around the world.

C1(I) Advanced. EN
C1-C2. Advanced Courses

Upon completing this course, you will be able to increase your vocabulary to 3,000 words and:

1.     improve your reading skills with Armenian literary and popular science texts on topics such as “inventors and inventions”;

2.     acquire knowledge of:
• the voice of Armenian verbs (active, passive, neutral),
• the syntax of complex sentences;

3.     develop the ability to:
• express your thoughts flexibly using different voices,
• construct complex sentences and understand the semantic connections within compound and complex sentences, as well as in texts as a whole.
